becky-bradway-40x2Becky Bradway’s craft book, Creating Nonfiction, was recently published by Bedford/St. Martin’s. Her collection of literary essays, Pink Houses and Family Taverns, was published by Indiana University Press. Her short fiction and creative nonfiction works have appeared many magazines and anthologies, among them E: The Environmental Journal, Ninth Letter, DoubleTake, Post Road, Antioch Review, and Hotel Amerika, among other places. Her fiction has received honorary mentions in The Best American Short Stories anthology. She attended Columbia University in New York and holds a doctorate from Illinois State University, and now teaches in the MFA program in creative writing at Wilkes University. After a lifetime in Illinois, she lives in Denver with her husband Doug Hesse and a couple of dogs. Her current project is a creative biography about the early 20th century writers Vachel Lindsay and Sara Teasdale.
